It started as a nice and cool morning at about 75 degrees as I set out on the Harley to breakfast in Superior. The temperatures stayed fairly consistent as I climbed in elevation and it was getting later in the morning. Such a pleasant ride!

Monsoon strikes again! What turned out to be a mostly overcast day with temperatures in the 90’s, ended up in rainy mess by the time to leave for dinner rolled around. I was looking forward to riding my motorcycle!

The 9th running of the GO AZ Motorcycles Sedona ride was a rare one! It was sunny, all day! This ride is usually filled with weather from monsoon rains, all out haboobs with high winds to bad hail storms!

Our final Alien Donuts Saturday Social for a while at least was at their new location in downtown Tempe. They were forced to move from their Scottsdale location last month because their landlord chose not to renew their lease.
The morning ride was fairly cool but humid, but once up to freeway speed, the coolness of the air prevailed and made for a nice ride to Tempe!

We will be discontinuing our Alien Donuts Saturday Social moving forward. Since we have gone back to our normal practice of having a monthly breakfast and dinner, we don’t feel there is a need to have a third social event on the monthly calendar.

A great question came up at dinner last night, “Do we require helmets on our rides?” The quick answer is, no, we don’t require you to wear a helmet to participate in one of our rides, but since we do leave the state from time to time, you are subject to that state’s laws. Helmet law included.
We do value your safety however and highly recommend that you do wear one. Outside of the obvious reasons, here are a few other good reasons to wear a helmet:
