This month’s dinner was at one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. A lot of the dishes at Cuban Foods I only get to have around Christmas since that’s the only time my mom will go through the trouble of making them! The food at Cuban Foods is almost as good as my mom’s!

We had a great turnout on a beautiful night at Caveman Burgers in Phoenix. It was great to see Club Road Captain, Steve Stoops back on two wheels after shoulder surgery! El Presidente also debuted his new/old 2010 Honda VFR1200F.

This month, we decided to do something a little different. We thought it would be fun to combine our 2nd Sunday get together with a fun activity. Todd Gilles, one of our board members, thought it would be fun to meet at 18 Degrees which is connected to the Ice Den for lunch and then a session of public skating at the rink.
This month’s meeting & dinner was held in the West Valley for a change giving me a welcomed short drive home. I did say drive! Kudos to Jerry Fuentes for being the only member to ride his bike to dinner! As you can imagine, it was a cold (for us in Arizona) evening dipping into the high 40’s.

We visited the West Valley for our February 2nd Sunday Breakfast. Located near University of Phoenix Stadium and Westgate on Northern Ave, west of the 101, the Lone Spur Café proved to be an excellent location for breakfast!
Back to where it all began! Our yearly trek back to the George & Dragon is always a fun time! Many members made the tip out to enjoy the delicious food.

Our first event of the year was put together by Road Captain, Steve Stoops. He highly recommended the Soul Café which is one of his favorite breakfast haunts and arranged for us to have our own section which was inside and set apart and up higher than the rest of the restaurant.
Our 4th annual holiday get together was a very fun night! The food and atmosphere of the new location in Mesa proved to be a great choice! The night started off with many of our members and guests arriving early to basically take over the bar area while waiting for our 8:00 PM reservation in a private room.
