In Search of Coco’s Corner, Baja Mexico – Part 1

Baja California, Mexico is a dream place with beautiful scenery, fun roads and legendary places. This trip to Baja was to explore more places and make the journey to Coco’s Corner. Places in Baja have mystical names: Mikes Sky Ranch, Coco’s Corner, Mama Espinosa’s and many more.
This was my third trip to Baja. Again, traveling with Alan Hirst and Greg Brenneman. This trip was planned for 5 days. The trip would enter Baja at Tecate, travel Mexico 3 to Ensenada, then Mexico 1 south to Bahia de Los Angeles then back tracking to Mexico 5 north to San Felipe and back to the USA through Mexicali then home.

April General Membership Meeting & Dinner Recap

Cuban Foods Bakery & Restaurant, Phoenix, AZ – April 26, 2018

This month’s dinner was at one of my favorite restaurants in the valley.  A lot of the dishes at Cuban Foods I only get to have around Christmas since that’s the only time my mom will go through the trouble of making them!  The food at Cuban Foods is almost as good as my mom’s!

Alien Invasion Grand Tour Recap

GO AZ Motorcycles, Scottsdale, AZ – April 6, 2018

Aliens appear at GOAZ Motorcycles. In an odd turn of circumstances aliens appeared and mingled with participants of the recent AZRATPack 2018 Alien Invasion Tour. News of the tour reached far and wide with riders coming from as far as Calgary, AB CAN, northern, southern California and of course locales all across Arizona and New Mexico. 35 rider and some tag along aliens made the journey visiting the going to the Very Large Array (seen in the movie Contact), TRINITY Bomb Site (location of the worlds first nuclear explosion) and Alien Museum in Roswell, NM. (always mysterious place)

March 2nd Sunday Lunch Recap

February General Membership Meeting & Dinner Recap

State 48 Brewery, Surprise, AZ

This month’s meeting & dinner was held in the West Valley for a change giving me a welcomed short drive home.  I did say drive!  Kudos to Jerry Fuentes for being the only member to ride his bike to dinner!  As you can imagine, it was a cold (for us in Arizona) evening dipping into the high 40’s.
